One of the most common questions we get from customers who are just beginning to dip their toes into the wide world of corsetry is whether or not they'll be able to get in and out of a corset by themselves. While we've written basic instructions for getting out of a corset by oneself here, many people find video demonstrations easier to follow along to. We hope to begin creating more tutorials and general information/Q&A videos on corsets soon, but for the time being all of our videos can be found on our YouTube channel. We were lucky enough to shoot the videos currently available with the lovely Lucy of Lucy's Corsetry during her visit to our office and warehouse this summer.
So, can you lace yourself in and out of a corset without help? Absolutely! It may take a bit of practice and having a mirror angled so that you can see what you're doing is extremely useful, but we hope the video below will help anyone who's struggling with how to get started.
